"God's timing is better" trust in him while you are waiting.
you may have been waiting on God for something , A promise you felt he may have gave you and you've found waiting can be challenging especially when you feel that you need it to come at a certain time . The bills are due next week and you don't have all the money to cover the bills , waiting for a call back for a job you want , or simply you are waiting for God to help you get through a tough situation and you may have found yourself getting discouraged. its not easy but God knows exactly what you need , his timing is always better.
" The story of Hannah"
Hannah deeply wanted a child , but she couldn't have any, and she would be mocked by her husband's other wives because of it. while praying silently at the Tabernacle with her lips moving with a sorrowful heart "The High Priest" Eli thought she was drunken and rebuked her , she responded . she was not drinking but was a woman with a sorrowful spirit pouring out her soul to the Lord.
Eli then blessed her , and the Lord blessed her with a child , now Hannah promised God if he gave her a son , she vowed to give him back to the Lord to serve him all the days of his life .
What we can learn from Hannah is that although she was grieved without being able to bear a child , she still brought it to the Lord, and trusted him in her time of waiting .
Although it hasn't happened yet God has many reasons as to why he is making you wait and many times as I have been in the waiting period myself , I always look back and thank God that he made me wait , because at the time I wanted many things was I truly prepared for it , was I the person I needed to be at that time of wanting that thing . personal experience : There was a time I wanted an apartment so bad , and I did applications for different areas , even the ones that were out of my city . well one called that was out of the city I grew up in and I was excited but I was not prepared , I didn't have the money I needed and it was not a safe environment for me or my child , I was sad but months later I got a good paying job, had decent car and I was able to get a better apartment for me and my child that was in my hometown , which made since because if I had gotten the apartment out of my hometown I would have had to change my child's school . long story short things worked out in perfect timing and now I'm thankful that God made me wait . once again we don't understand fully what God is doing when he makes us wait but there will come a time when you will realize why and you will be thankful .
